From the Heart

From the Heart offers hands-on projects that make a direct impact in our community. These opportunities are available most months, with expanded service options during Spring Break and summer.

  • Most months: One-time service projects with flexible scheduling
  • Spring Break: Daily volunteer opportunities for a week
  • Summer: Weekly volunteer projects every Thursday

Some people volunteer regularly, others whenever they can—all acts of service matter. Find a project that works for you.

National Days of Service

On National Days of Service, volunteers across the country come together to support their communities. Each year, we partner with local nonprofits to create meaningful service opportunities right here in Lubbock.

  • April (All Month) – Global Volunteer Month
  • April 20-26 – National Volunteer Week
